Bring Smiles to Seniors Update
When I was thinking about what to write about today, I thought it was time to provide an update on how we are doing in the Bring Smiles to Seniors program. I will let the numbers speak for themselves!
Liane: Special Mailings
1,310 cards provided to elderly nutrition programs to be delivered with meals
1,548 cards provided to our special mailing communities
Renee: Home Mailing Program
2,303 cards mailed to seniors at home (along with many other items) and kids dealing with major health issues.
Diane: Michigan Program
3,440 Cards delivered to Michigan senior communities
Main Program:
16,197 cards delivered
Total Cards delivered to date in 2018: 24,798
Total Unique Deliveries: 310
States Covered: ALL 50 – twice and some more
Cards delivered since beginning of program March 2016: 51,327
ONE CARD, ONE SMILE AT A TIME!!! That’s a lot of smiles and we are so grateful for all our supporters, card artists, decorators and volunteers for making this our best year yet….and we still have five months to go!
